Deland in Black and White

This collection of black and white photos captures pieces of some of Deland’s most recognizable places. The focus in this project was using light, shadow and line to give the viewer a new perspective on these familiar, locations that have fades into the banal background of life in Deland. "Arches " is taken in a place many students pass through every day, but many have never stopped to admire its simplistic beauty created by the blend of textures and geometric shapes along this corridor.
